Melfort Tea Factory is located in Pussellawa, in the Western Medium elevation of approximately 2900 ft above sea level. The factory first began their green tea manufacture in the year 2003. The factory manufactures approximately 32 grades of green tea and also some specialty tea. There are 2 main varieties of green tea which are namely "Pan Fired" & 'Steamed."

Serving Instruction or Brewing Guidance:
Use one rounded spoonful of tea or 2gm of Tea in 125ml boil water per person. Steep for 3 minutes. Best enjoyed without milk.
